on the 1500AD scenario i am attempting to retake the mongol empire at its greatest extent.

1. from the first turn i grouped my units into 3 sqauds and sent them straight into china where i got very lucky and managed to take the whole of china in 18 turns (Only prince difficulty), then i quickly regrouped into korea and took korea in 4 turns. as soon as all my units had healed and almost all my chinese cities had atleast 1 pikeman defending it i went to war with the jurchen, who had many keshiks but during the chinese invasion i had picked up alot of experience and 2 great generals so my units were alot more upgraded than his so i took his first city on the seconds turn after bombarding it, then took all his cities in the next 6 turns. i then moved 4 units down to Lhasa (buddhist holy city) to get some more cash income but the rest of my stack (most of which were still the ones i had started with to the purple mongols, who were alot harder as they had built a few pikemen in their cities, i lost many of my original keshiks in that raid but my city-built ones were swifty leveling. i am now healing my units, in the city closest to the turks border, and as soon as they are healed and grouped i will roll into their ciities and continue my journey west.
2. i quickly took out the turks and then split my overwhelming army into 2, one which set off into russia and the maghal territories. i managed to take the eastern russian cities quickly but as i got into the moscow area i started to get overrun with russian and polish pikemen and i lost almost all my keshiks in russia. i also had alot of trouble with mughal but eventually managed to defeat him and then as soon as my men were healed i rushed them into persia and a bit of arabia (which isnt in their historical bounds but it helped me wipe out persia). things in the middle east were going well as my stack of siege was dealing with defences and my keshiks were happily attacking with ease. i was however suffering with my economony so i set off to capture Jerusalem and Mecca for the shrines. i had been able to re-amass an army in china and mongolia and as i had 4 great general specialist in Karakokum, and vasslage, and stables, each of my units made there started with 18exp. by this time i had researched millitary training and rifling so i sold rifling to venice for about 6 other technolagies and so i was able to build the rifle horsemen. with about 12 of them and 6 cannons i sent my army, and a portion of my army that was in the middle east, back into russia and managed to take moscow, kiev, st petersburg and the other core russian cities. i am now dealing with some of russias cities in scandinavia and preparing an army for poland, while also still heading for jerusalem and mecca.
3. I done it, taking poland and turkey was a much harder challenge but eventually i managed to get infantry and with the help of those units i was able to complete the whole empire. i do have a screenshot and i will upload it as soon as i can, i decided i might as well continue the game and went on to capture scandinavia, east germany (france got west), the balkans, Egypt, North India and Italy. in 1860 i had every holy city under mongol control!
