Whose Online Not Visible

A couplw days ago, the, "whose online," sidebar at the top right of the forum abruptly disappeared. Is this deliberate and known for some reason, unknown to the site crew, a techniical issue being worked on, or turning it to an option needing to be toggled with a default of off?

I had only just started using it. Only just realized that if you hovered, you could see where people were.

Maybe I jinxed it.

We're playing around with a few things. Should be back at some point .
And no, should not have anything to do with the other thread about the side bars, unless I clicked somewhere wrong .

I realize some people find it handy. Others may find it a relief that it's turned off. I had to go into stealth mode (this is doable via the preferences in your account); my whereabouts should only be visible to staff) a few years ago because someone decided to be a stalker, and made it clear he was stalking me.

It was a useful feature, other forums just have "members reading a thread" instead. I hope it does return as I was using it too.
