why are polycasts episodes so late in getting out ? is the podcast dead

hey I was big fan of the polycast the civilization podcast but for some reason they are really late in getting out the last was recorded on 25 February 2023 but it did not get released until 11 June 2023
I thought thing would pick again later but as of May\26\2024 it seem like the polycast has died as we have not gotten any new episodes in 2024 why what happen ? it was the best civ podcast for so long.

You can easily check all the releases here. Since February they have been uploading relatively steadily again, and also releasing a backlog.

You know what? The polycast was gone after awhile but they started making episodes again so that's great!

With regard to 2023, we experienced a significant upturn in IRL commitments and issues that resulted in a hiatus, and several episodes from that year have not been released yet. For 2024, we're on a regular release rate.
