Why do you post?

To answer the thread question...

Must be some kind of desire to be read.

I post, because:

- I want to waste my time
- I have something funny/important/trollish to say
- I want to educate and be educated
- I may have made yet another unit for civ3

It's very cathartic being rude to people.

It's easier to do this anonymously over the internet than do it for real in person and acquire needless cracks in the polite professional persona.

What else, you jerks...

..........not to mention, the savings on dental works!

Primarilly because it's enjoyable, sometimes it's educational, sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's sad, one thing I do know though is it's better than watching another pointlessly mediocre drama on the BBC or ITV or whatever, God! Busdrivers, postmen, factoryworkers, these professions just aren't dramatic, and what is it with all the drama anyway, overkill or what! If you ask me the producer of the Beeb and ITV should be forced to watch 100 hours straight of their own darmatization programming, jerked awake at intervals by cattle prods whilst bamboo shoots grow through there small intestines. And don't get me started on F*****G! Big! Brother!! They should all be rounded up and sent to camps where they can be taught not to behave like the whole universe revolves around there slack jawed simpering existences, get these people of my bloody TV.

Oh and ranting of course, you know semi literate rages against the machine.

-It's fun.
-It's funny.
-I learn a lot.
-It gives me something to do.

Posting at CFC - My anti-drug.

:p

I post for the same reason I speak: The conversation has afforded me an opportunity to contribute.

Like this. I mean, honestly, aren't all your lives improved for my having made this post? I think we can all agree that they are.

"The newer testament"?

I was thinking "Thus Spake Perfecthustra".

It's for my PhD dissertation. I'm using advanced mathematics to analyze your posts (I would get into details, but it is probably best left to PM as the rest of these simians would never be able to understand such things anyways).

Before that, i came here to read. then i post to share. then i post becoz im angry. lol. And sometime, i post to make ppl happy :D

It's a simple enough question. What do you get out of it?
An erection!

kidding ;)

It's fun, I like connecting with people and hearing their various opinions and witty comments. I learn quite a bit on net forums as well. :)

Bright day
It beats pirating MS Word so I can start working on my term paper.

WordPad is just as good. ;)

Shh, don't tell that to my grandma ;). But with seven months to go I do not feel very hard pressed with having the info together already.

Because I know what Gardian readers in Brighton and Camden think about these issues.

Because perhaps I might change some loons point of view, or even they could change mine.

Because Im just opinionated, when it comes down to it.

Because I need to winge against the machine.

Bacause I was too tight to buy a newspaper and there is nothing n the telly.

It is somewhat enjoyable in various ways; one can often get intelligent or entertaining conversation; to catch up with old chums, have fun with them and spin some absurdity; in memory of what this place once was; buttkicking for goodness.

Not into getting top poster position; been there and done that. It is a nice little place here yet.
