Why does my savegames don`t work?

Sometimes when i have a savegame and shall open it i get`s a message with: TILE NOT FOUND! .... And i can`t use it. I use Win2k and i have v1.17f of Civ3. WHY DOES IT DO THAT!!!?????

Are you renaming the saved game? If so, the game will not recognize it.
