Why is GS so #@%$#%#$

I've spent 3 hours in the lobby tonight, trying to join a game but to no avail. The most people we could get were three. How long is this going to last. Will civ4 always be a bad online experience?

Yes, its been so for as long as gamespy hosted internet civ4. To my experience, the game works 80% of the time.

It's frustrating because when you wanna play you can't... Its unlikely to change.

gamespy sucks indeed.
Dont know why. But a dedicated server for civ4 would be better but no likely to happen.
