If you do that as an example, then we can press the quote button to see your post and we can see exactly how you did it. An example can be stronger than just an explanation. ;)

100 of these would have won the US revolution. Surely training a hundred or so of these is better than training thousands of men how to reload, fire, walk in formation, etc.

I know it takes years to get that good, but it sounds like a better investment. Arrows go way further than those old muskets, as far as accuracy goes, they go further.

    I'm only partially kidding.

I'd be more impressed if he were riding a camel.

I love composite bows for a reason. The ease of use, firepower, and accuracy of shot are unparalleled. That alone is not why the Mongols conquered such a large territory, but it is a solid part of it. Of course, he was shooting a still target. Archers behind shields would have a bit better of a shot retaliating. Also, heavily armored cavalry can disrupt that a bit (in Civ5 terms, use Knights to counter-attack, since Keshiks have about the same strength as paper).

But 12 shots in less than a minute is damn impressive.

The Mongols have always been my favourite Civ in the series. :)

Their accomplishments were legendary and their long range firepower with the bow really wasn't obsoleted until the 1800s.

Good article on the Mongol bow here:

When I actually did it, it turned out like this: . So instead I just said that. Didn't think of the "quote" button though.

    Great video though!
