Will it run well enought on my system to buy?

I'l start with what i'm trying now..i'm doing the Civ 4 demo to try and figure if colonization will run ok....I used to have civ 4 on my other computer with just a Nvidia 6800 card..and the scrolling was sort of slow..Now i have an old computer with a 6200 old pci slot only and its not real smooth regardless of graphic settings..I have win xp..a gig of ram....an intel pentium 4 2.66 ghz cpu...Seems to run ok but manual scrolling isn't perfectly smooth..is this normal?..and will colonization run ok...I know civ 4 would slow down on my old computer as the map got more crowded..i can get colonization for 19.95 but would like some advice first on weather it will play ok?

The recommended specs on the box are: 1.8 GHz processor, 1 gig RAM and a 128 MB video card with DirectX 9 support. I run the game on XP and your processor and RAM are OK but I'm not sure how your video card would match up.
