You know that is Exodus that the Lord Promised to lead his people(Israel) to "A land flowing with Milk and Honey".

Will the that area of the world ever live up to its name?

Because right now it looks more like the land of wrath and pwnage than the land of Milk and Honey.

It flows with money it looks like. How come Israel can afford waging all these wars anyway. Is it all US support?

It was that once.

When all of the land is vegetarian, there will be peace.

I don't like honey. If somebody offered to take me to the land of milk and honey, I would first clarify if he meant honeyS, and then respectfully decline (if he didn't).

How about the land of milkin' honeys?:groucho:

The Lord promised Abraham that his descendents would be as numerous as stars, too!

Maybe Israel will be a nice place once there have been 70 septillion Jews.

It doesn't matter. 70 septillion is a stupidly high number.

[expects the Godwynn to bump the thread when the federal debt gets there]

And then the Lord said "I will lead you out of Egypt, out of captivity and bring you into a land of Wrath and Pwnage".

Moses: WTH, why would anyone want that?

God: Doesn't sound too good huh, well no one said life was easy

Moses: Can't we have a little better, I mean 40 years in the desert just for wrath and pwnage? Come on God

God: You have a point, how about the land of Milk and Wrath then

Moses: Ok, deal.

Let me tell you something that we Israelis have against Moses. He took us 40 years through the desert in order to bring us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil! - Golda Meir....

Are blood and tears close enough?

Doesn't Lebanon translate as the land of milk and honey? An Arabic-speaking Maltese guy once told me that. If so, it would be one hell of a coincidence.
