Win10 CTD's

I recently upgraded to Win10, and since then I've been getting a lot of crashes to the desktop when playing Civ5. I've played hundreds of hours of Civ5 with Win7 prior to the upgrade, and I can't recall the last time I had a CTD. It doesn't matter whether I play with DirectX 11/12 or with the Win8 setting, I still get the crashes. Some questions: 1) Would it help to uninstall it and reinstall it from Steam? I had to do that to get CivBE to work. 2) Would it be wise to rollback to Win7? 3) If you rollback, do you still get the free upgrade to Win10, if you upgrade again before next July?
