windows 11 cant launch civ4 BTS

Hey friends, since I bought a new laptop and installed windows 11, the game is not launching, there is a initial loading of the screen and then it disappears. I tried to start the game outside steam and running with admin or compatibility to windows 7 and 8, but to no avail. I also unsuccessfully tried to install the 3.19 patch. Anyone has experience the same problem? Thanks.

I don't have experience with the Steam version, but can confirm that the GOG and CD-ROM versions work perfectly on Windows 11.

I have both the GOG and Steam versions.
The GOG version works perfectly fine on my Windows 11 laptop.
I wasn't able to make it work on my Windows 11 Desktop, though. But the Steam version is fine there (well, with the exception of a bald Shaka, but that's a minor thing).

So... YMMV I guess.

Hmm, I wonder if there is any trouble on new CPUs with heterogenous Performance/Efficiency cores?
