Without the 2k Launcher, how do I put the game in DX11 ?

I got a new pc and wanted to play civ6 after not playing for a while.
I'm having issues and want to put it in DX11 to see if it helps

There are separate DX11 and DX12 executables in the binary folder, trying booting up from the DX11 one? They should be found at: your-path-to-your-game-folder\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Binaries\Win64Steam
