WLM webcam problems

I have the latest window live messenger and a webcam that works perfectly on skype, but it doesn't work on WLM. I tried clicking the "Audio and visual setup" in Tools, but its says that it is unable to run it. Any info on how to solve it?

No, the box says it is compatible...

Anyone else have any idea? maybe try an older version of MSN?

we can't really help you if we dont know more info. Stuff like webcam model, OS, other things that could be using the webcam..etc..

Do you have Windows XP?

There are two different webcam-oriented options in the Tools menu. One is the Audio/visual setup, and the other is Webcam settings (or something along these lines, I have a slovene version so I'm not sure about English wording). Make sure to run the audio/visual first and select the webcam in the third window.

Of course, if you did this already, something else must be the problem.

PCL 300k is the model.
I've ran both, Audio and Visual setup gives me a popup saying that it was unable to initialise or some such, the latter a black screen with some static near the top.
