I may have found a couple of bugs - not sure - thoughts welcome.
Playing a large-map game, with only a few slight mods in the .BIC file. Basically, extended range for paratroopers and some slight defensive changes for Marines. A few extra city improvements decrease corruption, etc. Other than that, no changes.
I upgraded my normal Tanks to Modern Armor, and guess what? They don't traverse railroads like normal units do. Instead of just zipping along like my old tanks, its as if they are treating them as roads and not rails.
Same for my Marines.
Any ideas? I double-checked the editor to make sure there wasn't some magic railroad flag that I accidentally turned off for Modern Tanks and Marines, but I didn't see anything.
Also - for some reason, some (most) of my cities cannot build SAM missile batteries. The city management screen shows me that I have access to aluminum as a strategic resource, and I have the requisite technology requirements (some cities have the option to build it), but the option to build it doesn't show up. Am I missing the obvious here?
Thanks in advance!
