Wonder victory

has anyone played a wonder victory yet.
I am playing and it says 29 wonders to build
but how do i build the United Nations?
Its the last wonder and i have already learned the tech but it wont let me build it.
Is there something im missing?

I'm not sure, but maybe you are unable to build the united nations if you don't have diplomacy victory checked...

doesn't the un require a strategic resource too? if so, then that might also be the problem

Mmmh I'm sure the Manhattan project requires Uranium, but I don't think the UN requires anything but the tech. And even with diplo off you should be able to build it.
However, in my last game I tried to build the UN in my capitol and I wasn't able to. I couldn't understand why until I realized another city in my empire was already building it
Maybe you should check if one of your cities has not automatically switched to building the UN once its former production was done ?

nope. no other city is building it. Its not even a faded choice.
no other civ has fission either

Hit F6 in the game and look at the modern age techs. If the United Nations icon is in the tech box, then that means it is available to be built. The UN can't be built if Diplo victory is disabled.

Looks like you are going ot get a histograph victory. Altough, it is possible that the UN might not be included in wonder victory if you only check wonder vicotry

Exactly what is the wonder victory? It's not explained in the C3C manual. I thought I read somewhere that the winner is the high scorer when all 29 wonders are built. I also read that the winner is the one controlling the most wonders when all 29 are built.
