Wonders and Buildings you would like to see in CCTP

Like the title says.

We are currently reworking some aspects of CCTP.
This include the mechanism that link policies to Wonders and Buildings.

So for some reasons i would like to see some more Buildings in CCTP, but iam slightly out running of ideas.

But hey iam not alone so feel free to suggest your thoughts or opinions.

And if you think we have enough of them, then this is also fine we could start a vote.


In the best case, you suggested one, please add some infos about it, what should it do, and if you are :D then post a screenshot (more for wonders).

trade-off buildings

experimentation hall(multiple tiers?)
-food +science (experimentation, possible event->GMO's improved, +1food per agricultural resource)
1/2 slots for scientists

sacrifice cult
-food + culture and/or faith sacrifice some animals and nomnom's for god
slot for priest
(don't burn the nomnom's!)

vacation :band:
-production + happyness
(both are based on the number of citizens)

I'd like to see buildings to even out the differing yields from different bonus resources. Also a unique building per social policy. I would like for there to be more incentive to open up more policies.

Sure i can include this, but it would make it a lot easier for me if you could provide some names for the policy buildings and some tipps for the ields you would like;)

Change Kasbah to city and make it's yeilds a little bit better than the tipi also I would make it so that the outpost is not soo much more powerful than lumber mills and mines. Personally I would like to see more negative aspect to each social policy.

ComradeKristov, you missed the most obvious one: Communism-Gulag(improvement on strategic resources)- minus 4 Unhappiness (global, forced), double resource output. But apart from your little "oversight":D, your list is great.
 
Communism is a policy? It wasn't on my policy screen. I listed all the ones that were on my social policy screen.

Socialism- nationalized monopoly (national wonder) purchase cost -20% all local resources doubled
Communism- labor camp building -4 happy -6 food +10 production +4 manpower
Totalitarianism- dictators monument +15% military production +3 :)

The latter one is pretty superfluous, since there is virtually no difference between the two. Atleast not in the form of stages (totalitarism is the general form of political system, be it communism or fascism/nationalsocialism). After communism there was supposed to come some kind of paradise on earth, but since Civ and your mod is about realism and not fairy tales, i think Communism should be the ultimate stage of this policy tree.
Bancruptcy and revolution would be more historically correct, thou.:D

Totallitarism was part of older versions of CCTP, you still can see the entries in the policy branch when you look for blocked policies.
 
What i like to see at least as a building is a fish market if its not yet in preferably even Tsukiji Market which is one of the worlds most known and frequented fish market which is located in Tokyo.
 
You may have something similar already in place, but just in case you do not, I have couple.

Oslo City Hall - Nobel peace price. If you build that, you are able to nominate extra vote for UN for a certain Civ for each session. Not sure how easy that is to build in a mod, but something like that.

Camp David. Or diplomatic Academy. You receive one extra diplomat. Or if only diplomat is impossible to have, then you receive an extra spy. (I feel there are way too few diplomats possible in the game. )
 
And of course the most important building: A (public) Sauna. :snowcool:

Gives you more
- happiness (obvious)
- health/food (because of better sanitation, but also of mental health)
- gold (lot of business negotiations can take place in sauna).

This could boost your tourism quite a bit - but would be tough to build..

IIRC we have this wonder already, but iam not sure need to look into CCTP and to confirm it.

With so many new wonders and buildings its hard to keep the overview.:crazyeye:


But since iam working on the last (at least for this time ) icon atlas which should contain about 60 new icons.

I still have some place for new buildings wonders.

Also nearly all of the suggestions in this thread are done and also i added some of the polish wonders (suggested time ago on another thread).


For the sauna building, it sounds interesting i will think about it .
