Does anyone know how to convert a 2 tile wide land bridge so that a ship can pass through?

Pretty sure it's not possible, as cities are the only way of making 'canals' that I know of and you can't get 2 right next to each other.

I don't think you can. You can't put cities right next to each other for precisely this reason. Used to work like this in Civ1 & 2, and they took it. It would be nice to have this ability.

If that city can build transport ships, you might want to do that. Ferry the units to near that city, unload them, and then load them on the other transport ship. Kinda weak workaround, but it would do almost the same thing. Just take longer.

Edit: Actually might not take that much longer if you unload them in a port, and are connected by railroads to each port. But you'd still have to have double the transports to ferry them where you'd want to go.
