Yes that is true, I forgot to post that the Slteath bombers are US unit only. For other nations to build them they must resreach it, but it will take a very long time and cost a lot.
Also I have changed the movement of all ships to two seas a turn not 3 as before. I think this will be much better.

That would be correct
Since I'm not quite in the mood to add up all my pregame purchases and find out how many initial credits I have left (I left the sheet containing that info at home), just leave my 1st turn purchases under NPC control (even if I'm not satisfied with the results

The super powers of the world, along with its allies begin a massive arms build up. Billions of dollars are spent on upgrading and training both sides armed forces. The world readies for war.
Soviet Union
Terrorist have destroyed the major oil refinery along the Afganistan border. This has effectively denied the Soviet Union half of its total light crude oil production. Since light crude is mainly used to produce gasoline and jet fuel, the economy of the Soviet Union is in dire straights if something is not done soon to find a new source of oil. The time to repair the well and redirect the oil to other refineries is about 6 to 8 months.
Europe
With out warning the Soviet Union attack NATO forces at 11:30 pm local time. The attack came as a major surprise to the forces guarding West Germany, but the United States fearing that the Soviet Union may attack has moved most of its army to Europe, although it is not deployed at the front lines.
West Germany
On the Ground the Soviet Forces using shear numbers have been able to make a break through NATO defenses in West Germany. The First and Second Red Armor Corps along with the First and Second Red Army have move 50 miles into West Germany on the first days of the campaign. But NATO forces pull back and regrouped and attack the Soviet forces on its flanks. In the end the First and Second Army both lost 10 infantry regiments, and the First Armor Corps lost 5 armor brigades. The US 3rd Armor Division has lost 1 armor brigade and 1 mech, infantry regiment. The 3rd Infantry Division has been wiped out. For the NATO forces they have lost 1 armor brigade and 2 mech infantry Regiments in the First Armor Corps.
Skies of East Germany
Although Soviet Forces have gained ground in East Germany, NATO has been able to keep control of the skies above East Germany. In the first air battle of the war, the much bettered trained airforce of NATO was able to take out 3 Fighter wings and a radar plane form the Warsaw Pact 1st Red Air Corps. The Soviets First Army Birds have lost a radar plane and 2 fighter wings. Only NATO has lost 2 Fighter wings in its 1st Air Corps. The United States has also been able to use its fighter bombers and bombers to take out several bridges along the Elbe river, which will slow reinforcements coming to the front.
So far both navies have not attacked each other as of yet.
