Did anyone see this? Did anyone know someone who saw this? I had not heard any advertising for this, and it was one week and done at the local cinemas.

I saw it on the board of showtimes, and was confused.

There was some other movie with Katherine Heigl or someone that made even less, $30 or something ridiculous, a few years ago.

Looks terrible, but look at the voices...

    Freddie Prinze Jr. as Delgo
    Jennifer Love Hewitt as Kyla
    Chris Kattan as Filo
    Val Kilmer as Bogardus
    Kelly Ripa as Kurrin
    Burt Reynolds as Delgo's Father

    Ha Ha!

EDIT: Looking at the cover: "Spectacular"

IGN said the animation was akin to those early 90's shows that were in CGI (like Reboot!). It was in development for years, and the produces basically threw together a hodgepodge of famous people to do some voices and prayed to Allah that it would work.

"decided he wanted to direct and produce a $40 million computer animated kids' flick completely independent of Tinseltown behemoths like Disney and Dreamworks. "

There is a reason they are behemoths.

Considering I don't remember the movie being advertised at all, I'd say you might be right

It's kind of a peripheric affair, but in '98 the presentation in Milan of the Italian film "Jolly Blu", starring one of the most famous national pop singers, saw the massive presence of two (yes, two) fans total.

Awww... it's an animated film. I have a soft spot for animated films.

Seriously, there are so many movies that are FAR WORSE than this like Beningi's Pinocchio or Freddie Got Fingered or Jackass and all that BS.

I loved Benigni's Pinocchio, yet some dummy people are unable to understand his genius...

What's so good about it? Seriously! I haven't seen it. But world's most respected film critics all unanimously agree that it was horrid.

Of course, this doesn't mean that it is truly horrid but I have not bothered with it.
