WOULD ANYONE BE WILLING TO SHARE THEIR MOD LIST?

Hi, so I'am about to start playing this great mod after not playing for a year or so. Super excited to experience all the new changes. I had quite an extensive list of mods that i was using, that i copied from a poster's signature, whose name I can't remember. I've since upgraded to a new PC and I erased all my game/mod files from my old PC. Anyways, would any veteran player be willing to share their current mod list. I'am looking to add as many compatible or compatible with tweaks ones possible without cheating and without shifting balance drastically. Thanks!

Yes, but don't you think that you should try VP without other mods first? By using other tweaks, you will be tweaking VP as well?

Important:
- compatible != recommended
- several mods compatible with VP may be incompatible with each other
- the compatibility is not 100% guaranteed as the mods develop, the compatibility may be lost (and unless someone finds out and report it we do not know about it)

UI - Condensed Promotions (v 15)
UI - Small Resource Icons (v 4)
UI - Trade Opportunities (v 28)
UI - Overlay Barbarians (v 8) very useful for authority games when you are hunting for barbs
UI - Unit List Enhancements (v 12)
Global - Local Generals (v 2) Generals spawn on the battlefield
RemoveWallGraphics
RemoveBanLuxury (v 1)
Really Advanced Setup (v 15)
Maps - Rotate Start Position (v 11) if you don't like restarting the game 15 times before you get a nice start
Improved City View (Vox Populi - with EUI) (v 9) MUST HAVE FOR VOX POPULI !

Some nice additions to the game:

World Congress Reformation (v 5) Adds some stuff to world congress and lets you ally city states permanently when you conquer them
R.E.D. Modpack (v 27)
R.E.D. - Just Ethnic Diversity (v 27)
Global - Religious Settlers (v 1) new cities start with your religion
Global - Civilians Move After Purchase (v 2)
Global - City Working Distance (v 7) lets your big cities work more than 3 rings of tiles
Global - 2 Units Per Tile (v 2) if you dont like trafic jam (not very balanced)
EnhancedCityState (v 1) Makes city states useful
(7a) Civ6AdditionBuilder (v 3) Civ 6 style roads and builders
Leadership Reformation (v 4) Makes generals actually useful by giving them some very interesting bonuses

All mods work well with VP

I forgot this: UI_CustomModScreen, TTE_2k (those are DLC mods)

JFD's Henry VIII - CBO version (v 1) => Well balanced
MC and LITE's Nubia (v 3) => Less balanced. I enable it when I pick it :D

Really Advanced Setup (v 15) => Should be integrated to VP pack

Wonder Race (v 6) => cheated ? Playing immortal level that's fine

With some personal changes to adjust cost and effect :

Modern Helicopter (v 6) => Just a new end game unit. I made it expensive and powerfull
Neolithic Wonders (v 1) => Brings a new challenge from T1
Units - Super Carrier (v 11) => Standard 2 cargo is boring. I made it expensive
Universities of The Ivy League (Brave New World) (v 1) => I do love this one. It's a "crazy wonder rush"
White Sands Missile Range Wonder (v 2) => I obviously lessen the effect

VP being a piece of art, for all new Civ 5 VP players, don't start with extra mods.

For those using faster aircraft animations, is the animation when using nukes messed up? In my game it was, and I'm guessing either that mod, or maybe RED is the culprit

Sometimes the mushroom animation does not occur especially when I move/zoom during it. I don't know if FAA is the cause. No big deal anyway, the disaster takes place properly

True, it's just an immersion thing for me. The mushroom cloud does show for me (most of the time), it was the bomb being dropped from the plane animation that I meant in this instance, which is why I figured it was FAA or RED.

Never had any problems myself.

Hmm, and you're using both mods too. Weird.
 
Oh, I should mention that I also replaced Civ V's soundtrack with Civ VI's Sogno di Volare. It's just so epic. Not really a mod but still a cool change.

Thanks everyone for the input, This community is still going strong and is one of the best. I believe i copied Zeta's mod list for my last playthrough about a year and half ago. I got most, if not all, and then some mods compared to my old list.

Jdoug312: Iam curious what changes you made to R.E.D. Modpack and would you be willing to share them?

I'am assuming that i should enable Vox Populi events through advanced setup even thou Iam using the Community Events and Events and Decisions (CBO) mods?

Do you come across the issue of not being able to annex tribes (assuming you use them)? I've been trying to figure out why my great scouts do not get the option to annex tribes in my borders. Good to see another Civ Names By Policies user as well! I ended up deleting the espionage folder since I think it caused conflicts, but still a great mod!

  • Goody Huts - No Auto-Mapping

  • Improved Air Recon - Adds recon missions to sweeps, it is fun and useful for uncovering distant parts of map
  • Improved City View - Condensing the specialists in the city view in lines
  • InfoAddict - Lot of stats and graphs about other civs - especially useful when playing without EUI
  • Maps - Rotate Start Position - I don't like restarting
  • NaturalWonders - NoFountainHealing - I don't like promotions from Natural Wonders, I delete the other ones manually from XMLs
  • Promotions - AntiAir Only Defensive
  • Promotions - AntiAir Specialisations
  • Promotions - Extra Cargo
  • Quick Turns - Intelligently switches quick moves and animated ones between the AI and human turns
  • Really Advanced Setup - More settings for your game
  • Remove Guided Missile

  • Slower Research - I think I modified it a bit myself, slowing the science by 20%
  • Tectonic Map Script - My favorite map

  • UI - Destination - When you click a unit which is going somewhere, it will show you the destination - very useful for moving armies around

I'd just like to add that ever since I removed FlagPromotions my game has been more stable than ever. No crashes or ui bugs at max settings. It appears to be dependent on your system, so this is just something to be aware of.

Yeah, I remember our discussion on GitHub. I have to say, I am having absolutely no problems with it. As you say, it could be related to your system / rig.

I did notice that your settings were very low though. And didn't you mention some games having problems? Anyways, this is just something I feel is worth mentioning.

Edit:
Someone else had the same problem by the way. I'm sure you noticed it, but I still have no idea if that error is related to the CTDs.
