Many people here seem to advocate the killing of people they consider evil. For example they express joy at the idea of bin Laden getting killed or something equivalent.
But even if you generally think killing is bad you can just imagine the evil person died of a natural cause. Or at least that someone else did the bad killing part.

So would you eat him? And if not, would you object if someone else did? Many cultures enjoyed the eating of their enemies, what if we adopted that? Less cute animals would have to die to provide meat.

Assume the meat would be tasty. Like as a sausage. In a sausage the meat hardly matters. So eat or not eat? And why not? If not...

Why not? Let the evil person do some good in the world by taking a step against world hunger.

Well, it could spread Mad Cow disease around, but that has yet to be proven.

Of course it's a bad thing! Do you want a bunch of good people to asborb evil souls?

C'mon, Hitro, that's just common sense!

I would rather that bin Laden be forced to work as a waiter or janitor for the rest of his life (i.e. as a servant) -- I also favor this for illegal immigrants -- and btw I CHECKED this and illegal entry to the US IS IN FACT a crime -- and as such it can get punished ... and life-long labor is a legitimate punishment IMO.

But if we can't capture him and make him work as a servant, then we have to kill him because he is a danger to society.

No, the human body is good even when occupied by an evil soul.

I also don't think eating human bodies is always wrong. If no other food is available and you happen upon a dead corpse, it'd be OK to eat it.

I actually wanted to include that in the first post, the question if you think the evilness is contagious.

You could feed the executed criminals to death row inmates rather than spend tax dollars to feed them...

This would follow the Law of Conservation of Evil by keeping the Evil in a closed system.

If we had to follow a regimen of making sure evil was kept in a closed system, then there wouldn't be such a thing as a Law of conservation of evil, because it would only occur through intervention, and wouldn't exist in nature as a spontaneous axiomatic principle.

If on the other hand criminals and the like had an inherent, inviolable tendency to organize around cannibalising their fellow inmates, then you can make a poignant arguement that there exists a law of conservation of evil.
