Well would you. I personally would not but I'm sure some people would. *I know that Saddam might not have been betrayed by a family member but that doesn't make a difference as far as the poll is concerned.*

If somebody is wanted for $25 million, they usually have done something extremely horrible. I would likely have few problems turning such a person in.

yeah i probably would besides outside my direct family ( parents brother and sisters and their kids) i don't know any of them really personally. I mean it's 25 million dollars, should they happen to get out i might split it with them(or not;))

I admit, it's a tough question. :p

Wouldn't trade my parents at all though.

I would not let the fact that it's a family member affect my decision. Why should I be more nice to someone than I would be to someone else just because I happen to share some of their DNA? (Of course, in many cases family members do things for you and help you out--especially your parents--and that'd make a difference, but no more than a friend helping you.)

In most cases I would not, but if I have a chance to betray someone like Saddam, whether he's my dad, brother, cousin, uncle, third-cousin's ex-college roommate's barber, or just a person I don't know, for 25 million bucks, hell yeah. Hell, I'd pay someone to do it. (Not that I'd ever have to.)

Edit: I voted the first option, because I read it as if I'm willing to in certain situations (see above), not that every family member of mine is worth less than $25 million.

If he had done the things SH did, certainly. Without a moment's hesitiation.

If a family member was a mass-murderer, yes I would turn them in for reward money (actually I would turn them in even if there wasn't a reward). The Unabomber was turned in by his brother, and I don't think the brother did that for any reward money.

If they killed someone by accident, no I wouldn't turn them in. But people who accidently killed another person don't have a 25 million dollar bounty on their head.

If the family member were a mass murdering tyrant, such as Saddam Hussien, absolutely.

Depends which one.

If the family member comitted murder, I'd do it for free.
If the family member is innocent, no amount of money would make it justified.

Black and white.

newfangle, what about rape, child molestation, or non-lethal torture? Just curious.

Those are all the same as murder in my eyes, so a resounding 'yes' would answer your question. :D
