Would you support Texas in its secession?

Which side do you pick in the Second American Civil War?

If Texas were to secede, I say good riddance. You wanna leave? Fine and dandy, take every bible-thumping, cousin-screwing hillbilly ****** with you on the way out.

I wouldn't support the US government in the fight that would ensue. My moral support would be with Texans to leave as they please, and I would delight in watching their new country atrophy at every level. :D

I as an American would not only fully support the United States but I would volunteer to be the executioner for every last one of the traitors. The US military would obliterate all of Texas within days of said secession and US Army would be marching through Austin in a victory parade.

Uh...hillbillys arent really from...Texas.

Just sayin.

I'm not an American and I support United States. Because Texas can't win.

These are both terribly frightening in different ways.

All this bla bla bla to say that you don't have anything intelligent to say?

If you don't get it, then your just not getting it. But for a presumably southern apologist to say this:

You yankes are very good to take others' freedom, don't you?

And seemingly miss the whole "we had enslaved a bunch of people but we were totally fighting for someones freedom eh'!" angle is lulz. The fact that you then subsequently missed that repeatedly makes it even more lulz.

It could last six seconds, six hours. I doubt six days.

A Big fact NO! Texas will be seeing the American Military if it ever thought of seceding from the union!

Why? States should have the right to secede if it's done democratically. You can't, no matter how much you want, to force American citizens to remain in something they don't want to be in. We vote, we are free, Washington D.C is not America.

I think the civil war kind of proves your point kinda wrong. Been there..dont that.

Washington D.C is not America.

Oh, it isn't? Getting hard to keep track of the real parts of America these days, and I'm not even going to try to keep track of the real parts of each state. I mean, northern Virginia isn't real Virginia, but is it real America? Does it's geographic connection to D.C. corrupt it's Americaness? I know Alaska is part of Real America, cause Sarah Palin said so, even if they've got a politically relevant Secessionist party and label the rest of the country as part of "The Outside". I'm assuming that Massachusetts isn't real America, cause of gay people and John Kerry and stuff, but do we have to get rid of Chicago? I like the pizzas.

Something about antipodes that you don't quite get? You could always check the poll.

I guess the south is angry at the north for looking down at the south and their cousin-marrying ways.

Dunno bout you but its the sibling-marrying that offends me.

I'm angry at the north for believing stupid legends.

Is that it? Is that your only point of contention? Nothing else?

I'm angry at the north for invading other countries since 1861.

You mean America, not just the North?

Well, Northern considers themself as the only Americans, so yes ;)
