I won by August 1942 victory point victory as Japan.

It was, in the words of Mobutu, a "massacer *sob*". How can I post screenshots? btw it was on Monarchy not the easy setting if you're wondering ;)

There were 2 Chinese cities left, I controlled all of Hawaii, and the only city that I had been trying to take and couldn't is Port Moresby (that place is a little cow to take if you try playing the scenario as the Japanese. Walls, machinegunner, a couple of infantry, and nowhere near your supply lines.) There was one city on Jakarta I couldnt take, but I would have had it by 1943. I was predicting a domination victory in '43 at some point (I later found out that I was nowhere near a domination victory... 20% to be exact.)

I have the screen of the win... how do I put it up?

Anyone else got any easy wins in WWII Pacific?

I got about the same timeframe playing on sid and the most agressive AI. The allies lose so many units that the VP condition is set too low. I modded it so that units are only 3x not 5x points, and the VP victory is at 45000, up from 40000. It lasts much longer now. If the Japanese player concentrates its forces, the Chinese cities fall pretty easy, depending on how you construct your armies.

I used a tank army and an infantry army, and a lot of conscripts from the Japanese Chinese cities to take china (oh the irony.)

About the units... :p to win all you have to do is sink the dumb American navies. My aircraft carrier fleet didnt leave until the very end, and it had destroyed several battleships, carriers, and destroyers.

Try my modded scenario posted over at the completed scenarios area and I promise it wont be so easy......
