Hi;
long time civ2 fanatic here.
So i tought i would post my edits to the classic WWII scenario. Its a great scenario and i' ve played it extensively, and based off that i made some changes to make the game more fun and to be able to actually score some decent results without excusevly using the axis or the russians.
GENERAL CHANGES FROM ORIGINAL SCENARIO:
Science rate lowered by 100%. Dscoveries are more hard to reach.
Added new civ, eliminated Turks.
Added more cities to Africa
Added more cities to America
Added more cities to Scandinavia
Changed some title squares around Europe and some city improvements.
Science researched is HALVED. Only Allies and Axis are likely to discover new techs,
Turns increased by 100%. End scenario 1952.
Axis:
-Goverment switched to Fundamentalism.
-Loss of ITALY and Lower EAST EUROPE.
-ADDITION of cities: Trosmo, Trondheim (norway), El Haman, Tunis(Africa)
-Added mech infantry troops to Afrika Corps.
NEW CIV Italians:
- Based in Italy, Lower East Europe and Anatolia.
- Allied with the Axis.
- Goverment Republic, researching Fundamentalism(discover after few turnes)
- At war with Allies, Neutrals and French.
- Cavalary, Artillery and fighter troops. Antique Naval Army.
Allies:
- Added terrain and developed cities in NA.
- Eliminated control in middle east, added 2 cities to Egypt.
- Lowered science rate. Still Highest science level of the game.
Spanish:
- Goverment changed to Fundamentalism
- Added cities of Ibiza, Fes and Las Palmas
- Stronger Capital city.
- Can create Fanatics
French:
- Added cities of Agadir, Lorient
Russians:
- Added cities of Vilnius, Krasnovodsk, Orel and Tobolosk
Neutrals:
- Added cities of Berna(switzerland), Lulea, Goteborg (Sweden) and Samara (Africa)
- Created Central civ in Middle East.
- Researching Fundamentalism
I have tested the scenario with Axis, Axis allies, Aliies, Russians, Spanish.
If you feel like testing it and giving feedback will be well appreciated
