Wow, quite a bunch there.
See why it took so long.
It was worth waiting for it ! Thanks Danrell!
[NOTE : You need put the folder "Edited_Aim_State" to
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\resource\Common".]
Sorry I am new to this sort of stuff.
Where do I put the other files with the mods in?
You can't just put the other files somewhere, you need to create a mod to use them.
And how do you do that?
The first step is to download Modbuddy with the SDK via STEAM.
Second step to download Kael's Modders Guide
When it is done sit down and take some time to read it.
If you are familiar with xml coding it should be easy to start modding.
If not you will need more time and patience but you can do it (3 years ago I knew nothing about XML, I learned while modding Civ 4).
In this forum you will find more answers to specific problems you may encounter.
If you try to do it by yourself you will be able to mod more and more and so have a lot of fun (and waste a lot of time ).
If you don't want to do it you can use 2 mods to play with those planes :
Gedemon's RED Modpack : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=383375
or my Mod : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=415689
In both mods you can use the Artdefine files (see the modders guide for more details) as model or working basis.
danrell did you use a template for these?
I'd like to add a modern jet to civ5
These not a modern jet template, I didn't make yet...
thanks. I may give it a try.
Great work. I finally figured out how to add your unit graphics correctly, so I'll be putting them into a WWII scenario over the next update for it.
Why have you deleted your WWI aircraft? I was going to try to learn to mod them into my game.
they are in the WWII packs.
