Has anyone noticed that Perth has very high corruption (around 80%) but 2 cities north along the coast (I forget the name, Geraldton I think, not Broome) has much lower corruption (closer to around 20%)?

Does this have something to do with the corruption bug? It put down my hopes of building a few ships from Perth to reinfoce my SE-Asian fleet. But in the end I had advanced East until my CVs, CAs and BBs built in the East coast cities were closer to my navy than would they have from Perth.

Use the editor to drop the corruption % down real low for that scenario. It's under 'difficulty levels'. As far as I know, corruption wasn't an issue in Australia and Perth was a vital port.
