Xbox Xbox Civ 7 Game Save Extraction

Does anyone know of a way to extract the save from the Xbox so that it can be given to another player, or vice versa? I loved playing Succession Games in the prior editions, so I was hoping someone knew how to do this. I've heard it might be possible with Game Pass Ultimate, but $20/month seems high just to play SGs.

Xbox player with gamepass ultimate here, I really don't know a way to extract xbox save, I know that xbox uploads the save to the cloud but I can only download them to mine/another xbox, or to a pc only for certain games...but Civ7 pc edition is not on the xbox marketplace so is not enabled.
Maybe you can set the console to save on an external HD and then move that HD to another xbox, but I haven't tried

With Xbox 360 (and PS3), you could literally save your game saves to a USB stick so there ended up being a lot of incredibly simple game save hacking options. Is that even an option with the Series consoles or is it managed by the device and saving online.

My idea:

You do not need any form of Game Pass.

Create an Xbox account. Share the login/password with someone else. Both of you can login to the account on your consoles and use the same Civ 7 saves via the Xbox cloud.

You both would need to either:
1) own digital Civ 7 on a primary account on your console or,
2) own the physical disc

You won't be able to login at the same time, so you'd have to coordinate your play times.

@StargazingDog: I can't do that. I'm wanting to play Succession Games here at CFC, so that wouldn't work. In case you, or someone else, wasn't familiar with Succession Games, it's getting a team of 4-5 players who each plays ten turns and then passes the save on to the next player who then does the same thing.
