XP error

Hi, when I try to install the game, the message
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to teminate the application."

Any clues?
