Mars Bars. Melt in your mouth so tasty but you have to ration eat it as it is so sugery..

Yorkie!

Actually I found the chocolate to be one of the few areas in food that the US has a poorer selection than Europe. The chocolate was very bland in the few bars I bought, not sweet at all.

Really?

Everyone I know from Mexico says the candy bars here are too sweet

I find the candy bars in Mexico to need more sugar usually, even the American companies have less sweat versions (it's pretty evident if you compare the calories in a Mexican Hershey bar and an American one)

A fun side note on taste from my most recent G.I.S. class; Oreo introduced their cookies in China not so long ago, they didn't sell well at all.

Chinese people found them too sweet.

So they tried a less sweet version.

It was a failure as well.

They later found out that Wafers are very popular in China. They launched Oreo wafers and they were a smash hit. In 2008 Oreo wafers were the third most scanned bar code item in all of China.

Spoiler :

I suppose you were wondering:
2: Rice
1: Water

Yeah, compared to a Cadbury's chocolate they were pitiful.

Of those Mars bar, and Toblerone on second. Anyway, each time I've been in the US, I've tried this Hershey chocolate that they like to talk about in American TV-series, and it tastes horribly. It has this awful grainy texture that doesn't melt properly on the tongue...and that's just bad. I think I've tried the milk chocolate variant and the dark chocolate variant. Poor Americans.

Of those:
1. Toblerone, the Swedish national chocolate
2. Snickers
3. Kit Kat
4. Twix
5. Mars
6. Bounty

Of those Twix, then Toblerone, then KitKat.

i like this 1 too...

beside kitkat, toblerone...

It's in America, and only in America.

I really used to honestly think that people here read post.

It's in Mexico too.

And don't give me any of that "Mexico is in America" bull because I know you didn't mean that.

Sorry I don't really eat large amounts of chocolate :(

But no I don't read every single post. I operate a mental filter that gets rid of posts that aren't likely to be interesting or worthwhile. A similar filter operates on countries. For example, when I say that something is "only in America", I usually discount countries that aren't interesting or worthwhile, like Mexico, Belize or Honduras. Similarly, when I say "European", I usually mean "Western European" - French, German, Italian, etc - discounting any boring countries like Poland or Czechoslovakia.
