A thread like this eventually had to spring up here... So who's your favorite little thing?

Damn, I knew I left something out :crazyeye:

Oh, and Madonna is a close 3rd in my book...

Favourite female singer is Andrea Corr from the Corrs (I like Christina Aguilera but I am in denial bout that one :p )

I hate to vote "other", because it makes the poll meaningless, but there's really no female singer in that list that I like. :undecide:

Best female singer I know:
Anneke van Giersbergen (singer of the Gathering)

But looking at the comments of the thread starter I believe this is also about who looks prettiest and not only who sings best. In that case I'd say:
Anneke van Giersbergen (singer of the Gathering)

:p

I make a point of not listening to females under most circumstances, but one occasionally listens to Birgit Nilsson.

I would maybe say Chrissie Hind. She isn't a great singer though she plays guitar as well and writes her own songs.

Silje Nergaard or Norah Jones ATM

Dido of those on the list (least awful)

My personal favourite is Bertine Zetlitz, however.

Beth Orton
Sarah McLachlan
Lou Rhodes [of Lamb]
Emily Haines [of Metric]

Basically anyone with modulated voices, singing in english, from some european country ;)
