What do you think?

Excellent work Zerver!

Any chance you can make a Cuirassier version of your native cavalry with the Cuirassier's weapon?

Thanks in advance.

I always thought the plumed hats were for the warchiefs, not the common warriors. Any chance of a 'coiffe' with 1, 2 or 3 plumes only ? And maybe on 2 or 3 differents heads also.

I think these were badly needed units. Especially the cavalry. Sioux cavalry were the most deadly force on the plains for along time. I expect Avain's Varietas Delectat to be updated with them when he has a chance.(With the addition of the Zulu units of coarse)

i apologize to Zerver for using his thread, but i could not resist:devil:

this is a head i am planning to use for a sioux maceman/footman.

comments please, and again i apologize to Zerver, thanks

Looks good. I would suggest however, replacing the horns (?) with feathers - if this is something you can do...

It looks great bernie! :goodjob: I can't wait to see the units!:D

Actually, buffalo horns is a common "hat" motif in the plains Indian cultures and I was the one that suggested that bernie use. I was a little tired of all plains Indians parading around with full-blown chief feather headdresses.
There are other common plains dress you could easily use.

Here's some picks of the buffalo horn dress-

I admit it's not as Hollywood as many feather headdresses, but I like buffalo horns. They're pretty neat.

thanks for the input....i think i will make the horns just a tad smaller, and "separate" the horns in blender and combine the headdress and horns in the nif, that way, if u r allergic to horns, just delete the horn mesh from the nif....easy enough compromise!
