Well, assuming there's darts shooting at us as we try to cross the room, there has to be some sort of mechanism to fire these things. Possibly the switches to these things reside on the floor and when stepped on, fire their darts. What we'll need to do is one of two things, assuming the weaponry is floor activated:
1) Run as fast as humanly possible to the other side. The strength of this plan is we may be able to out run the darts, thus they would be missing us from behind. Its drawbacks are rather scary though. We don't know what direction they will be coming from. One can assume from the sides, but what of the rear and front? It's possible we'd be running straight into the things at full speed, thus very little chance of survival. Not only that, but it is possible the creators have a few of the side ones set to fire in front of the switches, thus leading the runner and impaling them anyway.
2) The 2nd option isn't too much more attractive, but I'll list it anyway. If we move slowly, and methodically spring every trap along our path, it's possible we can have some sort of protection around us and thus the darts would hit it instead of us. While I don't think it would play to our strengths as speedy people, it may have an equal chance of working out.
What do you all think, most importantly, what does Tasslehoff, Catharsis, and Pinman think?
