Hi, could you list the uniques for this civ?
Civ Ability, Leader, Leader Ability, Unique Unit, and Unique Infrastructure? I'm sure it would help us read what your Zulus are about at glance!
    Thanks for the mod!

I just meant to put it in the description in the first post, unless that's what you did and I can't find it.

    Having it open right now,

    Launch screen:
Uses Roosevelt als a leader, has no icon (the ?)
EDIT: in selection it has the german icon and Mvemba's face so I'm not sure why it's showing up as roosevelt while loading.

    Description:
Shaka Zulu is one of the most aggresive and powerfull civiizations early game. Use it.

    WarLike:
Gains an additional militairy government slot.
    Early War:
Very aggresive early game. Do not get on their bad side.

    Zulu Warrior
    A unique land unit

I don't know of any ways to make Teddy Roosevelt into anyone else and I'll look into the '?'. Also, I did just update the overview description

It might be due to me as I'm combining mods possibly causing conflicts, I was going to update the post about that but haven't made any progress in the last 5 minutes

Though if I'm correct it looks like the issues are with your mod as any other civ does seem to work without editing anything.
Still trying to pinpoint the issue but the game doesn't seem to like your civ very much.

My apologies, the launching issues were not your mods fault.
    My current suggestions would be:
    -Changing the icons
If you want to change the icons might I suggest looking at Dreadherring's Persia civ on the forums here.
He managed to do that as well as changing the icon for his unique unit which the zulu warrior would benefit from as well, currently it's using the settler icon which is kind of awkward to use in combat situations.
-Changing the colours of the nation, unless the Zulu have a deep connection to yellow and pink I am not aware of, the classic brown and white-ish colour fits them better
-Perhaps changing the name of the Zulu Warrior to either Impi or some other name that would fit better according to your judgement, just Zulu Warrior seems a bit boring
-Updating the description of the nation to his description from the Civ V civilopedia, couldn't find the actual loading screen text but this is an improvement:

"Strike an enemy once and for all. Let him cease to exist as a tribe, or he will live to fly at your throat again." According to the diary of H.F. Flynn, Shaka voiced this edict to his ally Dingiswayo concerning a defeated enemy; even if apocryphal, these words certainly summarize Shaka's philosophy. Bastard son of a tribal chieftain, Shaka kaSenzangahona would oust his half-brother in 1816 AD to claim leadership of the Zulus. He is credited with unifying the Nguni tribes into the Zulu Kingdom. Although called a military genius for his reforms and innovations, he has also been condemned for the brutality of his reign. Whatever the judgment, Shaka laid the foundation for an imposing Zulu state. Upon his assassination in 1828, the Zulu were poised to challenge even the Europeans for control of southern Africa.

But above that, thanks for putting a nice and functional mod out there.
I like the idea of the militairy card, in a way replacing the reduced maintenance the zulu's had, as well as giving them a strong early unit.
I am curious about the whole Early war thing though, what do you mean with that?
It seems like it's describing a playstyle while it's in the spot for the nation's ability.
Would the ability be to have specific casus belli earlier?

I took most of your ideas, except for the colors because I think yellow and purple would better represent them. So I have everything changed except for I can't figure out how to change the icon. I think I put it in correctly but there is probably something I am missing

    Looking good
    What about this bit?
I see you've called it Fast and Deadly now but it's still unclear what the actual function of it is

SirAJn8r: good mod, played with it alittle however the Impi (Zululandi's Best and most feared unit) is actually a spearman type! as the Impi was quiped with a spear and a shield the impi were also famous for there shield bashing tactic to psych out there enemy so on this maybe i could suggest a unique trait for them like 'Standing Thunder' and it gives a -5 or -10 Defense stat when next to the Impi unit? as in real life before the captain or lead impi gave the order they would bash there spears and weaken the enemys resolve to fight if the enemy didnt run away then they would attack....... also the pincer move was a zulu creation based on the bizon animal of africa the horns would be the first to attack once encircled the vanguard or head would move in for the kill so a possible trait that could give the Impi an attack bonus it would make the Impi a dangerous early game unit! so -5 enemy defense and +5 attack to the Impi when fighting other nations units as a unit bonus? this is all just options also as spearman are good against horseman id take that away and say that its an all rounder but loses out to city attacks making more use for things like catapults and siege towers when used with impi's - again this is just my opinion of the zulu's unique unit as for the leader stuff i heard that firaxis are going to improve the modding system so maybe they will make it easier for custom leader creation

and by unique trait i mean like a unique upgrade for them

Not sure why you think purple and yellow fits. I definitely think something along the lines of the Civ 5 colour scheme would seem more fitting.

    Spoiler Shaka Zulu :

I was born and still live in South Africa, in fact my husband was born in Kwazulu Natal, which is the traditional homeland of the Zulus. So quite intrigued to play as this civ...

I recommend play you civ V then, I loosely based this around the Zulu empire in civ V but if you really want to play for cultural reasons, then I recommend your just play civ V
