Boeing-17A 2016-10-05

Boeing-17
The Boeing-17 is a divebomber used by the United States in the Second Great War. Though not quite on a par with the Confederate Mule divebomber, the Boeing-17 was effective as flying artillery and for precision targeting during air raids. However, it was no match for Confederate fighters.
In 1942, a flight of Boeing-17s destroyed the Gray House in Richmond in an attempt to kill President Jake Featherston. They were also used in the last parts of the Battle of Pittsburgh.
By 1943, Boeing-17s were sometimes armed with 1.5" antibarrel cannon to penetrate the thinner roof armor of Confederate barrels.
