The Wright-27 was the principal fighter of the United States Army's Air Corps in the Second Great War. It was the only weapon in the US arsenal which was more than a match for the Confederate Mule dive bombers and the Razorback medium bombers. It was roughly on a par with the Hound Dog fighter. The Wright-27 was armed with a pair of 20mm cannon, and 4 machineguns.
