Adenoid Hynkel is the ruthless anti-Semitic dictator of Tomania in the classic Charlie Chaplin satire The Great Dictator. Chaplin, who did the film partly due to his superficial resemblance to Hitler (some think Hitler grew his famous mustache to associate himself with Chaplin's beloved Tramp character), created the character as a pointed parody of Hitler's policies and leadership. Mimicking his speaking style, Chaplin reduced the speeches to quasi-German goobledegook, and attacked his policies as narcissistic mania. All of this was done before Hitler became as hated in the West as he is now.
Reportedly, Hitler saw the film. Twice.
