I've just started messing around with mechanical units in Blender, and I put this unit together. It was quite the process, especially w/ the UV editing. This isn't probably an accurate model, but I thought it was quite interesting to make. It could easily be converted into a sort of terrorist/rebel sort of unit as well. 
Basically, this is a '40s era Chevy Special Deluxe (modeled by me) with a marine sticking out of a cut-out roof with Asio*3's Thompson Machine gun (Big thanks to him; it saved me a bit of time and is a very nice model). It uses the Marine's animation (yes marine's!) and uses a 0.4 fscale. There is two little problems w/ this; the death animation looks odd as the Marine falls out the back side of the car and (less major) there aren't any damage state animations. I might do some animating to the car itself in the future.
Hopefully someone can find a place for this or some modders can have a little fun!
