Maximilian I
I present to you the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, who will be the fourth leader for Germany in my mod/uxp, World of Legends. He was a bit easier and quicker to do than I thought, so pretty good. He could be a leader for Germany or the Holy Roman Empire. He could also serve as a generic renaissance-era, European leader. A button has been included, as always.
Background: Maximilian I reigned as Holy Roman Empire in the late 1400s. Politically, he had something of a mixed legacy. Though he expanded the power of the house of Hapsburg through war and marriage (which would have repercussions for historical events for the next several centuries), he also lost a war against the Swiss, forcing the Holy Roman Empire to accept Switzerland as an independent state. He was also well known as a patron of the arts and sciences, and played a key role in the Northern Renaissance. He was also very fond of jousting and armor, and is oftentimes called "The Last Knight".
