To install the layer, unzip the archived file and then double click on it, Google Earth should be able to work the layer from there. All six *.kmz files will appear as Temporary Locations, to permanantly place the plots into the program, drag the files into the My Places extension on Google Earth.
After much toiling and strife building the next iteration of Google Civilization, and then losing it all from my computer not working, I've begun the effort to rebuild the project, civilization by civilization. With help from The J in organising how and where to download, I can now cut out the middle man and directly send the first of many civilization layers of the improved Google Civilization 2.0.0. Every week or two I hope and plan to prepare a new layer to submit to this database, including this one, five are ready to be placed on the database as a good start.
This is a physical update of the currently released GoogleCiv layers. It's just six plots, but for the most part they are plots to the new wonders added into Civilization V for Gods and Kings. This is not a complete update as the only new information are the new plots and their information, any altered yields from old wonders have not yet been updated.
This file contains six new plots to be added to the layers - CN Tower, the Manhattan Project, Mount Kailash, Neuschwanstein, the Terracotta Army and Uluru, each with their yields correct to Gods and Kings, and history and information of all the sites.
