INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Unzip the .zip file.
2.) Copy the folder "Modules" to the "Assets" folder of Beyond the Sword or the Beyond the Sword mod you are using.
If you want the diplomacy music to play correctly, do the following:
3.) Copy Ukraine_Intro.mp3 from the Modules/Sounds/Diplomacy folder to Assets/Sounds/Diplomacy in the main Beyond the Sword directory.
4.) BACKUP Audio2DScripts.xml and AudioDefines.xml from Assets/XML/Audio in your Beyond the Sword driectory.
4.) Open Ukraine_Audio2DScripts_NEW.xml in the Modules folder and Audio2DScripts.xml in Assets/XML/Audio in the main Beyond the Sword directory.
5.) Copy everything from <Script2SDSound> to </Script2DSound> from Ukraine_Audio2DScripts_NEW.xml to the end of the Script2DSound section of Audio2DScripts.xml.
6.) Repeat step 4-5 using the AudioDefines.xml files in the same locations, copying the <SoundData> section from Ukraine_AudioaDefines_NEW.xml to the end of the SoundData section in AudioDefines.xml.
7.) Play away!

Ukraine Diplomacy music is the national anthem of Ukraine played by the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
All other Civiliopedia entries were taken from Wikipedia.
MODULE CONCEPTS:
The Ukraine Module provides four leaders. I wanted to use the as-of-yet unused leader trait combinations and I feel I made some good matches:
1.) Yushchenko (Creative, Charismatic) - AI should play like Frederick - Yuschenko is widely seen as a charismatic leader and head of the Orange Revolution. Creative seemed to fit because of his leadership, his challenging of the voter fraud in his presidential election, and because of his survival from an assassination attempt.
2.) Tymoshenko (Financial, Industrious) - AI should play like Darius I - Tymoshenko is one of the most powerful business-women in Ukraine. Financial/Industrious seemed like a good fit.
3.) Yaroslav I (Philisophical, Industrious) - AI should play like Hammurabi - Yaroslav I is credited with building many wonderful buildings in Ukrainian history, such as St. Sophia Cathedral and the Golden Gates of Kyiv. He is also credited with promulgating the first code of laws in the East Slavic lands. I'm aware that this trait combo is a little over-the-top, but it was a good fit and makes for a fun game (or a difficult opponent).
4.) Sviatoslav I (Organized, Protective) - AI should play like Julius Caesar - Sviatoslav I underwent constant military campaigns and eventually carved out one of the largest empires in Europe at the time. Although Aggressive seemed like a good fit, Sviatoslav had to br organized to undergo constant military campaigning during that time period, and once he reached a certain point he tried to hold on to his gains and protect his new found lands.
The Unique Unit is the Druzhinnik, a Knight replacement that is a little cheaper, has a 50% bonus against moutned units, and starts with the Flanking 1 and 2 promotions. Druzhinniks were bodyguard units for local princes that formed the backbone of any military ensemble for Kievan Rus and were elite horsemen that fought the other steppe horsemen of the time constantly, so it seemed to be an obvious choice for a Unique Unit.
The Unique Building is the Veche Hall, a Courthouse replacement that gives a +2 Culture bonus on top of the normal Courthouse effects. The veche was the tribal gathering that determined matters of importance. They'd often meet at the town square or a town hall, so a Veche Hall seemed appropriate.
