May I ask for your help in creating an improved model TUNNEL based on Civilization V game? Its purpose is to allow workers to pass through the mountains after building on the mountain plot, and to display a tunnel model on the mountains. Thank you very much.
Hi Rhye! Long time fan and lurker, first time poster. I hope to try and get my hands on the latest civ5 RFC version. Would be nice to try out after so many years.
WE MISS YOU LAIN!! Everyday I hopefully await a youtube notification saying there is a new video posted by you. Please some day come back!
Awesome leaders. Any possibility for a Tsar leader, please?

Well, if we think about the best Tsar, we could pretty much mention two: Peter the Great (who would have a "come back" in 7) and Alexander II AKA The Liberator. I get what you mean by Soviet angle and Marx, but wouldn't that be a little too political? Either way, great idea. Thanks a lot, man.

i dont think its possible to avoid politics when representing political leaders! russian tsars are hardly apolitical either lol.
once theres full modding support we may be able to get civ 6 leader models to work in civ 7 - maybe i'll do peter along with some others when thats possible!

lol Yeah, that's true too. Thanks, man
Hi everyone,

I’ve been a long-time fan of this forum and everything related to ancient civilizations, I wanted to share a free tool I’ve created that might actually be helpful for some of you Super Tool is a collection of free online tools designed to help with document editing, PDF management, and image. perfect for those of us who deal with scanned historical texts, old documents, academic papers, or maps.
Hi Rhye! I very enjoyed your civ4 mod and it's modmods. I got civ5 just some months ago, and I saw the civ5 RFC. It looks really great. Because I am very interested in accurate History, I can say RFC is the best civ4 mod for me personally. Maybe you could give me access to the download link please? I would like to do some in game tests. Thank you!
Hey, thank you for your mods. I translated your resource rename mod into German. How/where can I send you the code?
I liked your civ-7 leader mods you recently uploaded/posted. I was wondering if maybe you take request or could I commission you to create a mod would for me.

hi! glad you enjoy them!
especially with all the narrative events involved in civ 7 mods, quite a lot of depth of subject knowledge is needed to do a mod
so, so far i've been sticking to parts of history i'm really familiar with via my experience as a researcher, at least for now
that being said: im happy to hear any n all ideas! and if theyre adjacent to the kinda stuff i'm working on theres a chance i'll include it

Awesome I was hoping to create two slightly op Australian (John Curtis) & Ethiopian (Haile Selassie) leaders and if possible corresponding civs as well. I really missed those leader/civ combos from civ 6. I even have some ideas as to how they could work in civ 7.

oooh. reintroducing some civ 6 (and civ 5) leaders could be a fun project once we have full modding support. it may be possible to incorporate their original leader models!
Hi! Got this in multiplayer games (pls see screenshot attached), everything is fine in single player.

Forgot to thank you for the instructions for adding compatibility with the RHQ AI mod; thanks!!
I know it just came out yesterday but when you next play, wondering if you would look at patch 1.1.1 (Bulgaria, Nepal, Simón Bolívar) i.e. would you change anything?

Omg sorry just realized I meant to post that question to Desucrate's Adjusted Start Biases instead 😅

Lol no worries, you are welcome in any case for the instructions. Thank you for using my mod!
Hey, I like the last update of the Diplomacy Ribbon Tweaks, with the green and red bullets, but these look reversed:

Hello, I’ve created translation support for 10 additional languages for this mod. How can I send the files to you? The "Discussion" section for your mod is not enabled, and I can’t upload attachments there.
Idk if you can see this because I'm new to this site but after a little bit of testing the crash happened because of an interaction with another mod

editing 20ish minutes later, the crash happened because of a bad interaction with ynamp

oh. I've been trying to do things in a way to avoid conflicts but it happens sometimes.
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post, but after a 15 year break from Civ2 I finally went back to it and I am enjoying it way more than I should. I like playing on water worlds with a big navy and I saw your modern Royal Navy posts on the 'modern unit graphic' thread. May I ask if these are available to download anywhere?
Hey man, I was actually the first to download your descriptions mod before you pulled it!
A simple fix for a stupid oversight. I’ve hated how hard it is to read descriptions. Btw, the format stays intact even without the other mod and I noticed you added icons yourself (e.g., civic, promotion). I think it’d be better to leave those out and focus on formatting so this mod stays more modular.

I appreciate the kind words. It should be back up now, it was just the auto-moderation.

I prefer the icons, but I can look into making them optional.
I was just wondering if there were anyway to increase the amount of rough terrain and mountains on the map generation.
Is this something that is able to be modified/amplified? I would love to have a more production and mountainous version of your fractal map.

Sorry for the late reply, i think you would have to do the following:
  • Go to "elevation-terrain-generator.js" under the game files ("Base\modules\base-standard\maps")
  • Copy the "addHills" and "addMountains" function into the "fractal.js" file from the mod (remove the two function from the import at the top)
  • Increase the "extra_mountains" and "extra_hills" values in the respective functions
