[Vanilla] Hans Lemurson figures out the Combat Formula

Yes, you're right. I noticed a few minutes after posting that I had made a mistake, but had already switched off my PC. I'll edit the graph tonight ;)

[Vanilla] Hans Lemurson figures out the Combat Formula

Sounds like making a simple mod to test would be a good way to figure out how this works exactly. If anyone has time to try it out, I attached a mod that should get you started. Simply unzip it to My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods, then edit the CombatTest.sql file in a text...

    Statistics project?

I don't know, the sequential (2nd type) log file is pretty detailed, you can pretty much see anything players do. It should definitely be possible to train an AI model with the data if you put it into a suitable format. Even the condensed first log has a lot of info such as research paths...

Goddess of the Harvest provides far too much faith

I don't think chopping in general is adjusted for game speed. I play on standard, for the record. Do you see something different when trying the pantheon?

    Statistics project?

No, it's written to every turn and at the end of the game contains info for every turn in a timeline-like sort of way.

    Citizen Slots - ?

These are similar to specialists from earlier titles. On the city management screen, you can click on your district to change the number of citizens working there instead of on tiles. An engineer in the industrial district for example generates 2 cogs and some great engineer points. Maybe...

    Harvest or Improve?

Thanks, I remember that formula from another thread. My current impression is that you can get a space victory on standard speed by turn 250, which gives us a nice rule-of-thumbish end date for the game (adjust for player skill and speed accordingly). I just posted some statistics for tech costs...

    No Goddess of Harvest

I don't think the design is bad, but there is currently a bug. Have you played with it after the fall patch? It provides up to 4k faith per chop in the late game at my end. See this bug report: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/goddess-of-the-harvest-provides-far-too-much-faith.605631/

    Statistics project?

Is anyone interested in gathering some gameplay statistics we can access? Presumably 2K gathers these for themselves, but it would be interesting to have a treasure trove of data available to run analyses on (big data style). My main idea currently is to enable the history log. To do this, you...

    Tech and civic cost list

I just dug this out of the DB real quick and thought it might be of interest to someone (sorry for the annoying table layout, I can't figure out how to set column names - you can copy it to Excel if you like). Cost|Count(Cost)|EraType 25|3|ERA_ANCIENT 50|5|ERA_ANCIENT 80|3|ERA_ANCIENT...

Goddess of the Harvest provides far too much faith

I made a tiny mod to remove the pantheon as a work-around for the current version: https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/no-goddess-of-harvest.25673/ By the way, in the late game (T240 or so), I got about 4000 faith from a single chop.

    No Goddess of Harvest 1.0

After the fall patch, the Goddess of Harvest pantheon provides ridiculously large amounts of faith. This mod removes the pantheon as a quick fix.

Goddess of the Harvest provides far too much faith

Yeah, I saw that thread when I searched before posting this bug report to see if anybody else reported it. It's pretty hilarious.

Goddess of the Harvest provides far too much faith

I've seen this in at least two games since the fall patch was released Before chopping: And after: According to the description, I should get an amount of faith equal to production (59 in this case). In reality, I get 7 times as much. The discrepancy seems to become more pronounced as the...
