Im playing civ 4 with the warlords expansion, and I was woundering how effective it is to set yorur city to the research option instead of building something? I know you whould only do this is your trying to tech up but is it worth it?

How do I get rid of these I have tried to make sure I have acess to luxurys, and build improvments that cause happyness in the citys, What else can I do?

I have to disagree a bit here I think it takes a fair amount of work to get a cultural vic as well.

One thing I noticed about this game vs civ three is the fact that this game seems to move along more quickly I have not finnished my game yet but in three hours I was able to whipe out a big civ next to me and almost make it to moderan age. I just played for three hours strait(I never do that with a game) and I have to say this game rocks, I am definatley going to get my moneys worth out of this game.
