    What's Your Army?

Okay, I've finished assembling the majority of my units, and now I'm working on a color scheme. I've been planning on painting them like tigers, undercoating them white, and then giving painting the carapaces orange with black stripes. I might even include some black stripes on the white bodies...

    What's Your Army?

Well, the introduction I attended today was fairly interesting. I played against two other guys about my age using the instructor's personal Space marine army. Each side had 1000 points. I had a squad of Terminators (with power fists) and two tactical squads, each with one model with some kind...

    City sets

My thinking was that they had conquered an imperial world and had destroyed a town or city during the assault. Later they would have the chimneys and ships to feed on the planet. You guys out weigh me, though, so it's really up to you.

    What's Your Army?

Millennium Games, from what I've seen, has players of a variety of ages. Most seem to be in their late teens, but there are some younger and some older. I'll see how it goes tomorrow, though.

    City sets

Beautiful splashes, Aaglo! @DragonBird: Eye? Where did you get that from? In my opinion, Nid cities need to progress something like this: Actual cities, just in ruins, with the beginnings of a digestion pool and capillary towers. The ruins have been overgrown with plants and the digestion...

Champions of Mystara - Preview Thread

Good job sorting out your problems with the space ship parts. The screen looks great as well.

Good luck painting your models, Varwnos. I can't wait to see the finished product. I've just purchased some super glue and am working on assembling my models. I should have a (somewhat) coherent force by the end of the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, Millennium Games (a hobby store that does...

Screen Resolution Problems in Windows Vista

I have recently gotten a new computer with a 17" monitor with a resolution of 1280x720. When I access the Monitor settings through Control Panel, however, the best resolution I can use is 1280x768. When I move the slider in either direction I obtain drastically different resolutions, neither of...

To add to the n00b questions... What glue works best when assembling plastic models?

Unit Maker of the Month, February 2008 jury thread

That hobbit's cape must have taken a lot of work, time, and patience to animate, so my vote goes to Plotinus.

PCX Maker of the Month, February 2008 jury thread

Grrrr...! Both of these pcxs are awesome, so it's a really tough choice :ack: . I'm going to have to go with the German city set, because of the interesting angle and shape of some of the buildings. Plus, there's the fact that I'm actually using those graphics.
