okay, i found the problem. it turns out that Norton antivirus had quaruntined a file after I had first installed the mod V43. I just restored the file and everything is loading fine now.

i just downloaded v43 and it keeps saying that CIV4GraphicOptionInfos.xml is not loading and the game never starts to load. I have played with many previous versions over the years and I have never had this happen before. is this happening to anyone else?

I don't know what a dump file is. Also, I have been using Win 10 for a little while now so I'm not sure if that's a problem or not.

The file seems okay, I was able to extract and start the game. However, as soon as it was finished loading a new game it crashed and windows said it was looking for a solution. Are there specific settings your supposed to use when starting a new game?

I downloaded from your link in the post above me but it still said it was corrupt when I tried to open it. I downloaded 7-zip from your post as well.

I've downloaded and tried to extract three times now, and every time I do I get an error message saying that the file is either corrupt or that the file ended abruptly. Is this happening to anyone else?

I've noticed a couple of bugs, Elephant workers can't build plant picking camps even though other animal workers can. Also, my first Great Person was a Great Spy, and even though I was still in the Prehistoric Era I had the option of constructing Scotland Yard, weird.

Are you really gonna put out a modern version of your WW2 scenario? That is awesome, your scenario was my favorite for Civ5.

I was using Lakes a lot, but I've tried Big and Small and it seems to provide nicer looking maps.

is there a way to change how far north or south the different civs can start at? i think the starting spots in the arctic areas with green and muddy terrain in the middle of snow and tundra looks ridiculous.

I'm hoping in future versions there will be Population growth notifications beyond level 5.
