okay, i found the problem. it turns out that Norton antivirus had quaruntined a file after I had first installed the mod V43. I just restored the file and everything is loading fine now.
i just downloaded v43 and it keeps saying that CIV4GraphicOptionInfos.xml is not loading and the game never starts to load. I have played with many previous versions over the years and I have never had this happen before. is this happening to anyone else?
Just started a game, and my gatherer can't upgrade a scavenging camp to a nomadic herd on a herd of buffalo, it says it will upgrade automatically because the tile is being worked, but I can't do it faster myself with my gatherer.
Building new nomadic herds is okay, it just won't let me upgrade...

I tried to download and extract the file from TC01's post on the previous page and it seems to work for me.
I noticed however that I can only play the game with Babylon5 Wormhole map.
If I try to start with just the regular Bab5 map setting the game freezes after it starts to load.

The file seems okay, I was able to extract and start the game.
However, as soon as it was finished loading a new game it crashed and windows said it was looking for a solution.
Are there specific settings your supposed to use when starting a new game?
I've downloaded and tried to extract three times now, and every time I do I get an error message saying that the file is either corrupt or that the file ended abruptly.
Is this happening to anyone else?
I've noticed a couple of bugs, Elephant workers can't build plant picking camps even though other animal workers can. Also, my first Great Person was a Great Spy, and even though I was still in the Prehistoric Era I had the option of constructing Scotland Yard, weird.
is there a way to change how far north or south the different civs can start at?
i think the starting spots in the arctic areas with green and muddy terrain in the middle of snow and tundra looks ridiculous.
