Anyone use set military divsions or armies????

It's much easier to do this sort of thing in cctp where you can move upto nine units at a time, meaning that you can easily organize 'divisions.' In my border cities that are under attack, I have a combination of warriors-phalanx-pikemen-musketeers-riflemen-marines for defence and...

    When Civ's Demand!

Well if you have a city with severla enemy AI units around it which could capture it and the AI demands some sort of tribute I usually give it if: a) I can b) It won't give the AI too much of an edge (though remember that if the ai is demanding a tech, it'll get that tech anyway if it conquers...

    Design an ideal OCC game

In the OCC I did notice that some supplies got periodically unblocked. I never knew this could happen, so I was rather surprised. I thought it might have something to do with the AI capturing cities

    1642 Civil War [British]

Chariots and elephants? Oh dear, I must have missed some city out... or was it something you could build? I'd better remove those technologies!

Oh, I had one problem; how do you get city improvements built n a city in cheat mode?

    1642 Civil War [British]

Yes, the World Turned Upside Down, or so I think the Diggers said. This scenario is based upon the map from the 1066 scenario in the Conflicts in Civilization collection. I've changed the techs, names, units and built a few new cities (which are aprox. in the right place) from what they...

    Design an ideal OCC game

Well this is my fist attempt at an OCC. The city ended up being quite big (28), with over 400 science and 90 production. I was helped by the fact that I played King level I think with only 2 AI, so I managed to build loads of wonders. I realised that in OCC the important wonders are the ones...

    Gotm 43 Spoiler

Is it cheaper to bribe small cities that are rioting, have few improvements and are far from their capital? Good thing about bribing is that you get a few units and any units not in the city die. I don't think the amount of units in the city determines the price in any way. It must be best...

    Gotm 43

I've been playing my very own PC. No not personal computer or police constable or even parish council! Pirate challenge! A bit like OCC, but you can have upto 10 cities and it's your responsibility to inconvience the ai as much as possible; by killing settlers, sinking shipping, bribing units...

    Best Wonder

I actually don't do any research after musketeers, I steal, plunder or swap with the AI, so I'm nearly always the most advanced, even though I have 0% science. As a result I don't need sccience wonders.

Yeah, I've finished my turn, but it's on another computer, so I'll try to upload it asap. Lot's of trade, a few engineers, several temples and an egineer near a place where a city could be on a delta with a wheat hex near it. I got bored of moving all the units that weren't near unexplored...
