    Fun survey. I really had problems picking a third favorite polcy tree. I always go for Tradition and Rationalism but the third really depends on the game at hand, although if I'm investing just one policy in another tree I'll usually go for Commerce for the extra Gold.

    No ruins, flat land and Archipelago make me think it's worth skipping the Scouts and just starting with a Monument. Settling in place seems promising, lots of tiles to work later if the city grows big, unlike some coastal cities on this kind of map. :)

    V4.2: The Cultural Centers policy was found to be providing +2 Culture per Great Work building instead of +1, due to a bug related to the buildings being gifted to the city on the same turn. This has resulted in the bonus being removed from the policy.

    Habits that make your game(s) non-optimum

    I never try and build Wonders in single player until Medieval/Renaissance because I usually play on Emperor/Immortal. So in multiplayer games I end up not trying to get Wonders that I could have easily gotten with a good start, such as Great Library or Hanging Gardens. :(

    Guided Missiles just need more Combat Strength. In Vanilla they had 60 Combat Strength compared to 50 Combat Strength from Mechanized Infantry.
