    Expansion on the horizon?

There are always more DLCs coming. (This will be true until the game is abandoned, and you'll notice when that happens: no more updates) Infos about new DLC will be available when it's released.

[Mod] Fim's collection of small mods

New(ish) additions: Trouble getting across water early game? An early ship unit could help Boat (XML) I got a bit tired of never finding Olives or Wine for my families, so I tried to make sure that at least some instances of every single luxury are always placed on the map, if at all possible...

[Mod] Fim's collection of small mods

In my quest to improve Helptexts, I added a few things with my Base DLL mod. When trying to build an urban improvement, many new players struggle with the rules for urban placement, since they are only in some tutorial, but not in the general helptexts. It's one of those details you expect to...

I Finally Found A Bad Event

It functions with the logic of this game. Effects are usually listed somewhere. If there is no text that says "makes it impossible to declare war for X turns" then there is simply no such effect. I believe your units can move through their territory? They definitely can't in Truce. But I...

I Finally Found A Bad Event

Both are just agreements. Agreements can be broken at any time, by the will of any of the involved parties. A lot of games arbitrarily make it impossible to declare war in certain circumstances, and that is what you are used to, that was your expectation, and that expectation was betrayed here...

I Finally Found A Bad Event

It's not counter-intuitive, you are just not used to it.

    How Do You Recruit Courtiers?

A judge leader can use the "Hold Court" mission, which gives you a 20% chance to a new courtier. Normally you only get them from events and bonus tech cards. There are no other ways.

AI Not Going After Late Game Wonders?

The AI went for wonders more in the past, I think that has been observed before, and not justrecently. Not sure if on purpose or a bug.

AI Not Going After Late Game Wonders?

Very true, the AI doesn't need tech for wonders. What I meant was: The AI needs a strong economy for wonders, because they cost a lot of stone, and it would also need a good economy to tech up faster. The AI is prioritizing culture levels enough, just not so much the stone and science...

AI Not Going After Late Game Wonders?

The AI also doesn't tech as fast as a human. Both are related to how the AI is really weak when it comes to building up its economy.

Why isn't this game more popular?

It's an unanswered question for me as well. Maybe we are a minority. Maybe the long phase of being Epic-only hurt the general visibility of the game. Maybe sales aren't as bad as they seem because people own the game on different platforms. More Marketing could help, probably - the game seems...

Old World Modding - how to guide

Anything that would require new 3D models seems close to impossible. But reskinning of already present models, and everything that does not involve 3D is possible. I'm not familiar with the mods you mention but since I'm assuming they do contain completely new units, the answer would be no.
