    Agreed that it would be terrible if everyone could only attack once per turn and if everyone could take more than one attack before dying. Wars would take forever then especially with stacks and healing in between. That system from SMAC (?) that you refer could certainly make things interesting...

    I believe this exists in the Afterworld scenario for BtS. It's either that or it's a limit to how much damage can be taken in a combat before it ends with no one dead but damaged to varying degrees. Not sure if it is possible to bring this into 0.23c though.
